B14 Sentra (95 and newer models)
Reading self-diagnostic codes.
To read self-diagnostic codes, do the following:
1. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Turn the mode selector on the end of the ECU completely clockwise.
3. After a pause of 2 seconds, turn it completely counterclockwise.
After this, read the codes, paying attention to the duration of the LED glow. Determine the code number using the following rules:
- Long flashes - the number of tens in the self-diagnostic code,
- Short flashes - the number of units.
For example, code 0311 is read with 3 long and 11 short flashes.
